FEE STRUCTURE
There are three different dues: Institute Dues, Hostel Dues and Mess Dues. Institute dues are to be paid by each student and Hostel dues and Mess dues are to be paid bythose students who will be staying in halls/hostels. All these dues are to be paid inadvance at the time of admission to the first semester and also at the beginning ofother semesters. Cautionmoney, however, is one-time only (during admission) andneed not be paid in other semesters. Caution money will be refunded after thecompletion of the course. However, caution money will be forfeited if not claimed within one year after passing the course or leaving the Institution for any otherreason, whichever is earlier.

Institute dues of Rs. 40000/- is to be deposited in the UCO Bank of India located atthe ground floor of the Science and Technology building either in cash or by Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of "Registrar, IIEST, Shibpur", payable at Kolkata. A candidate should collect his/her copy of the bank receipt as well as the Institutes'copy of the receipt and shall enclose the Institutes' copy of the receipt along with
his/her admission form.
HOSTEL DUES (FOR STUDENTS STAYING IN HOSTELS)
- Hostel Maintenance Charge 1000
- Seat Rent 600
- Electricity and Water Charges 300

Hostel Charges of Rs. 1900/- is to be deposited in the UBI, BESUS Branch located inthe ground floor of the Heaton Hall (in between Pandya Hall and Wolfendon Hall) either in Cash or by Demand Draft/Pay order drawn in favour of "Registrar, IIEST,Shibpur", payable at Kolkata. The candidate should collect his/her copy of the bankreceipt as well as the Institutes' copy of the receipt and shall enclose the Institutes'copy of the receipt together with his/her application form for admission to Hostel.
MESS DUES (FOR STUDENTS STAYING IN HOSTELS)

* Mess in a hall/hostel is run by the students with the supervision of the Hostel/Hall superintendent and logistic support from the mess staff. Two major meals are supplied in the mess. The exact amount of mess dues may vary from time to time.Mess dues of Rs. 21000/- is to be deposited in the United Bank of India, BESUS Branch,either in Cash or by Demand Draft/ Pay order drawn in favour of "Registrar, IIEST,Shibpur", payable at Kolkata. The candidate should collect his/her copy of the bankreceipt as well as the Institutes' copy of the receipt and shall enclose the Institutes' copy of the receipt together with his/her application form.
Total amount to be paid during admission: i) Rs. 40000/- for students not staying inhostels; and ii) Rs. 61000/- for students staying in hostels.
All charges may change as per orders of the Institute authority. The candidates willbe notified about the changes through the website.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Institute offers a large number of scholarships to its students. Practically everymeritorious and/or financially poor student may get scholarship. Currently almost 50% of the students are getting scholarships. 5% of the students of general category will come under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme. No Tuition Fee is to be paidby the students belong to SC/ST category. There are also provisions of loan scholarships offered by various banks. Full Scholarship for all students will be
